What is Vaping? A Better Way to Give Your Lungs a Break
Precisely what is Vaporizing? A vaporizer, also referred to as an electronic cigarette, is basically an electric device which simulates smoking tobacco. It typically includes an electric atomizer, a rechargeable power source such as a standard battery, and a glass or plastic container such as a tank or cartridge. Rather than smoke, users inhale vapor instead. As such, utilizing an electronic cigarette is generally referred to as “vaporizing.”
In addition to the proven fact that it mimics smoking, vapor developed by an electronic cigarette has considerably less tar and toxic chemicals than that created by a cigarette. Actually, vapor produced from an e cigarette does not even taste bad (in fact, some people find it much better). The end result is that vapes are healthier than cigarettes. For this reason alone, many adults are actually starting to use vaporizers for their nicotine needs. This trend is only expected to increase over the next few years.

For example, oil or aloe is typically used in inhalation devices as it has a very soothing effect on the lungs and may actually help with respiratory problems. The biggest risk associated with what’s essentially electronic cigarettes is the fact that liquid nicotine is extremely harsh on the lungs. Because it is taken straight into the lungs, the burning affects the lining and tissue in the lungs. If you breathe in any of the vaporized oils, you’ll experience a solid and annoying burning sensation in the mouth area and throat. This is much worse than smoking.
Another risk which should scare off even the most non-smokers is the proven fact that electronic cigarettes use a lot of tar and toxic chemicals. Tar deposits in to the lungs and leads to cancer as time passes. The newer generation of e-cigs eliminates most of the tar but some of the chemicals still remain. If you’re after a safe way to get nicotine into the body, then this is not at all it.
But what about the flavorings? There are more and more people who swear by the flavors of vapor created electric cigarettes. You can find chocolate and mint, coffee and cereal, fruit flavors, and even Vape Pens vanilla or hazelnut. Are these really safe? In every honestly, you would need to be blind not to spot the dangers presented by what is essentially electric cigarettes.
So what is it that we are looking to avoid when talking about what is essentially a tobacco product? A lot of people say that we should stop smoking and avoid anything that has nicotine in them. While quitting smoking is a superb thing to do, it isn’t the best solution for what is essentially a problem. By not removing the nicotine from our bodies we have been not removing the toxins that can lead to cancers, stroke and other bad effects. We have been simply shifting the places where the nicotine is located in our bodies, which is something that many health risks may also be eliminated.
So what is it that people are supposed to do if we want to live longer, healthier lives? Quit smoking. If we are dependent on nicotine addiction, we need to find a way to eliminate that dependency. By switching to something that does not addict us, we are absolve to pursue other things in life that people want. By using a method that makes quitting as easy as possible, we can give our lungs and heart the gift they deserve.
